Elena Psimmenou is a dancer and choreographer having graduated from the National School of Dance (KSOT) with honors in 2020. She has also completed her bachelor studies in the Pedagogical Department of Elementary Education in National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) in 2016 and in 2025 she finished her Master Studies in Dance Education at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). She has danced for KSOT Production, “Growing”, in “One one one” by Ioannis Madafounis and “Askisi 27” by Christos Papadopoulos in Athens & Epidaurus Festival (2019) and in “A simple dance” by Iris Karayan (2020). She has also been part of Athens Digital Arts Festival 2019, in “Rendez-vous” by Fabien Prioville (Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch). In 2022 she danced for “AN ASA” by Elina Demitzioglou in Beyoglu Kültür Yolu Festivali in Istanbul, and in 2024 in Markela’s Manoliadi “Countless” in Centre des arts de l’ Ecole Internationale de Genève by Flux Laboratory Athens. In 2024 she performed her first co-choreographed piece with Daxi dance company “Away From Keyboard” in Sfiggos45 in Athens. She has participated in many dance workshops, some of which with Euripides Laskaridis, Ioannis Madafounis, Christin Dakin (Tecniche di Danza Moderna in Rome with a scholarship by KSOT), Spencer Dickhaus (NDT), Cyril Baldy & Jone San Martin (W. Forsythe), Yaniv Abraham & Chisato Ohno (Gaga Movement), Yurij Konjar (Contact Improvisation).
Areti Mihou graduated from Aktina Vocational Dance School (Athens, 2016) receiving a diploma as a professional dancer and dance instructor. She holds a Bachelor Degree on Pedagogy (2018) from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master in Dance Education (2025, AUTH). She has worked in productions of the National Theater of Northern Greece (2016-2019) as a dancer, assistant choreographer and director’s assistant, and in productions of the Alternative Stage of the Greek National Opera (2024) assisting direction and choreography. As a dancer, she collaborated with contemporary dance groups such as Vis Motrix, Die Wolke Art Group, and B_area 4, based in Thessaloniki. In 2019–20, she was a member of the educational team of the physical theatre JV2 / Jasmin Vardimon Company, based in the United Kingdom, where she collaborated with choreographers: Mafalda Deville, Anthony Matsena, Jasmin Vardimon and Sabrina Gargano. She has also participated with choreographic works and physical theatre workshops in dance festivals: Athens Video Dance Project (2016), Unit Motives (Thessaloniki 2018), Dancing Routes (Komotini 2023), and K.I.S.S. Festival (Athens 2023). Since 2022, she has been a member of the organizational team of Dancing Routes festival in Komotini, Greece.
Aggelos Gkiokas graduated from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering form the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA, 2006), holds a MSc in Applied Mathematics (NTUA, 2010) and a PhD in computational analysis of rhythm from music signals (NTUA, 2016) and a post-doc research position in University Pompeu Fabra (2018-2021). Additionally, his research interests include the compilation analysis of the human movement and the application of novel technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality in performing arts and investigates aspects such as the transmission of knowledge in performing arts through AI/VR and the recovery of knowledge through audiovisual archives. He is currently the technical coordinator of the Horizon project PREMIERE: Performing arts in a new era – AI and XR tools for better understanding, preservation, enjoyment and accessibility, where he closely collaborates with important dance and theater organisations such as ICK Dans Amsterdam (Netherlands), Amsterdam University of the Arts (Netherlands), Instituto Stocos (Spain), Argo theatre (Greece), Forum Dansa (Portugal) and FITEI theatre festival (Portugal). Additionally, in 2025 he finished his Master Studies in Dance Education of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and has done two years of professional dance training in Varium (Barcelona, 2020-2021) and Area Dansa (Barcelona, 2021-2022). He is also the founder and director of TechnAI: Technology Culture and Society, a culture and technology SME based in Barcelona.
TechnAI: Technology Culture and Society SL is the organising entity of this festival. TechnAI is a for-benefit SME based in Barcelona whose mission is the democratisation of technology and its application in areas such as culture, arts, social applications, and sustainability by making technology accessible and beneficial to society as a whole. Moreover, it provides consultancy services to citizens, scientists, artists, companies and entrepreneurs to help them design and implement their ideas effectively, managing intellectual property rights, and organising events that can contribute to the broader engagement and appreciation of these domains. TecnAI is also dedicated to organizing educational workshops that are meticulously tailored to the unique needs of artists, as well as providing comprehensive support for a diverse range of events such as dance and theatre workshops, scientific conferences, exhibitions, or artistic residencies. TechnAI has a strong presence in the Digital Cultural Heritage sector and is participating in the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage initiative.
